BMW Brings Back Owen For ‘The Escape’

Who remembers when BMW had Clive Owen appear in their snazzy mini-movie promos?  This was around 2001, a time before YouTube.  Owen was tasked with driving a car in the promo ‘The Hire‘, obviously, it was a Beemer.  Now they’e putting him back behind the wheel for The Escape, with a preview below.

Even better, it’s set to be directed by District 9’s Neill Blonkamp.

Along with Owen, we will get to see Dakota Fanning, Vera Farmiga, and Jon Bernthal in what will probably be a short but intense action flick revolving around the upcoming 2017 BMW 5 Series G30.  It’s not known whether this will be a single short or a series, but it could prove to be cool.
