Is Toretto Wasted In This Interview?

Here’s an interview conducted by Carol Moreira with Vin Diesel.  It has gone viral on account of Diesel’s actions during it.  Diesel hits on the interviewer, in the same way that a drunken old uncle hits on talent on a night out.

Diesel begins the interview by waffling about operating a childhood gang in New York and goes on to boast of how many men he has beaten up as a bouncer.  Diesel though begins to take flattering questions the wrong way.

Maybe the most cringey moment comes when Carol asks the 49-year-old, who is old enough to be her father, to say ‘I am Groot’ in Portuguese.  When she did, father-of-three Toretto instead used it as an opportunity to shower her with foul-mouthed compliments.

The  actor, who appeared to be under the influence of something (or was simply being Vin Diesel) said: ‘I love you. I love her. She’s so fucking sexy. I can’t do this interview – look at her.

Okay, Vin.

‘Does anyone say this? Guys, what’s wrong, am I the only one that’s saying… look at her!

Diesel, who has been in a relationship for ten years, then got on his knees and creeped towards the woman.

‘She’s so fucking beautiful you can’t even do an interview with her ’cause you’re just like…’

If Diesel was betting on this being an obscure interview from Brazil, he thought wrong.  1.5 million views and climbing, along with the dislike holocaust on the video.  You’d have to wonder, what is going on with Toretto’s pupils behind those glasses?
