UPDATED: Wonder Woman Not PC Enough For U.N.

UPDATED: Here is an update on this farce.  If you thought that Wonder Woman, a flying cape work of fiction, being fitted as a U.N. Ambassador was funny, wait until you hear the latest!

The deal is off.  Why?  Because she’s not politically correct enough.  45,000 snowflakes signed a petition to have her removed.  “Although the original creators may have intended Wonder Woman to represent a strong and independent ‘warrior’ woman with a feminist message, the reality is that the character’s current iteration is that of a large breasted, white woman of impossible proportions,” the petition read.

The irony that they had singled the character out by denouncing her race (racism) and tits (body shaming) was evidently lost on them.

In a sane world, you’d hope the petition would have been to remove a fictional character from an institution like the U.N. to preserve its credibility (such as it is), that it was a step too far in brain dead ultra leftism.  But rather they think it’s not enough!

PREVIOUSLY: Here is some movie news.  And I think that we can possibly file it under comedy.

Cartoon superhero Wonder Woman is to be honoured by the United Nations, enjoying the role of Honorary Ambassador, standing alongside esteemed colleagues Angelina Jolie and Emma Watson.

Wonder Woman, who is now a lesbian (scratch that, always has been), will highlight the empowerment of women and girls at a special ceremony next Friday and both Gal Gadot and Lynda Carter are scheduled to appear. The Los Angeles Times reports that this event will mark the first time the actresses, who play the current big screen and 1970s TV series version of the character respectively, will meet in person.

In attendance will be U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and DC Entertainment President Diane Nelson.

The United Nations holds a political responsibility to prevent genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity.  Good to see they’re honouring their obligations.  Good work.
