UPDATED: Murphy & Arnold Meet To Discuss ‘Triplets’

UPDATED:  Looks like things are moving on this again.  Eddie Murphy and Arnold Schwarzenegger have apparently met to discuss the movie (see here), and they’ve also suggested that Danny DeVito is still on board.  It would just hope that it doesn’t go DTV.

But as we’ve seen elsewhere and as Sylvester Stallone has correctly said, there’s strength in numbers when it comes to has-beens.

PREVIOUSLY: I know some might hate the idea, but I find these three actors to be quite funny and adept at bringing a good humour vibe to the screen, so maybe Triplets isn’t such a bad idea especially since it combines all three.  There have been questions about whether or not it was still going ahead.

Despite recent comments by co-writer Josh Gad that suggested the movie had been put on the backburner by the studio, Schwarzenegger tells Howard Stern that “Triplets” is happening.

The script (by Gad andd Ryan Dixon), he says, merely needed some ‘fine-tuning’. Eddie Murphy is attached to play the third brother alongside Schwarzenegger and Twins co-star Danny DeVito.

Pity though about Beverly Hills Cop IV though right?  I wonder if Murphy isn’t so easily swayed by this script either?
