6 DAYS (2017)
I’d like to first caution that this is another movie that is a one watch deal, at best. But still underrated. Again and even more this time I might note, because of alleged jingoism. It’s not great, but I found it to be a movie that was relatively easy to digest.
The film covers the Iranian embassy hostage crisis from the 1980’s in London.
A troop of SAS men lead by Jamie Bell (too young for this role) is tasked with planning a breach, then executing, which obviously does not happen until the end. There’s ‘political tension’ here and there, which isn’t really too effective most of the time.
But the film is alright.
