Diesel Planning New Boxing Drama

Vin Diesel is getting together with Criminal Minds executive producer Virgil Williams to develop a new drama series titled Crushers Club, set at a struggling boxing gym, for NBC.

The gym featured in the show is set in one of Chicago’s toughest neighbourhoods and acts as a sort of second home for troubled kids.

Williams will be on board for writing and executive producing duties alongside Diesel and Shana C. Waterman.

Universal Television will produce in association with One Race, their third TV project in the works at the moment following the Miami Vice reboot on NBC and Get Christie Love on ABC.
