There isn’t a typo in the title, Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit fame is directing a movie and he’s going to get John Travolta to star in it.
Moose is written by Durst and Dave Bekerman and is based on Durst’s alleged personal experiences dealing with a stalker years ago. Travolta’s titular character is obsessed with his favorite celebrity action hero (Devon Sawa of Nikita) and sets out to destroy his life when his fixation with him turns dangerous.
Based on someone setting out to destroy Durst’s life? Why, for what reason would someone want to do that?!
Anyway, this film is supposed to be serious. So you know what that means, anticipation of unintentional hilarity is high. Although to be fair it sounds like it would’ve been better suited to Nicolas Cage, but then what isn’t suited to Cage?
