Cena Replaces Stallone In ‘Ex-Baghdad’

Sylvester Stallone and Jackie Chan were due to star in action/thriller Ex-Baghdad.  Now this is no longer the case, as John Cena is now said to be replacing Stallone in the movie.

The plot centers on a Chinese-run oil refinery located in Mosul, Iraq that gets attacked and overtaken. The owners of the refinery then enlist Jackie Luo – a private security contractor with an organization called the Snow Leopard Commando Unit, played by Chan – to come in and rescue their trapped employees. However, these particular attackers are less interested in wreaking havoc and more interested in stealing a fortune in oil. To stop this nefarious plot, Luo teams up with former American marine Chris Saatchi (formerly Stallone, now Cena), and sets out to stop the bad guys from reaching their goal.

See, I love the idea of Chan being in a serious movie like this.  But I wonder how long he’ll still be attached if Stallone is no longer aboard.
