MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT

Here is the trailer for Mission: Impossible – Fallout.  As usual, another good trailer for the series, and perhaps a bit darker this time.  In this sequel, Ethan Hunt and his IMF team find themselves in a race against time after a mission goes wrong.

The movie is once again directed by Christopher McQuarrie for a July 26th release.

MUSCLE

Elsewhere, Vin Diesel is set to star in the action comedy Muscle, for STXFilms.  No further details are available other than Diesel’s desire to turn it into a franchise.

Adam Fogelson, Chairman of STXfilms, says in a statement: “I’ve known Vin for more than a decade after working closely with him on the Fast and Furious franchise and I’m excited for him to return to this genre. Muscle is the perfect blend of action and comedy that his millions of devoted fans around the world have come to love him for, and we believe has the potential to become his next big, signature franchise.”

Diesel, Samantha Vincent, Reginald Hudlin and Byron Phillips will produce but not production schedule has yet been set. It will, however, come after Diesel shoots “Bloodshot” for Sony this Summer, and then film and produce “xXx 4”. He also has a ninth “Fast and the Furious” to film in 2019.
