Dick Miller Calls It A Day

Veteran film actor Dick Miller has passed away.

The character actor best known for his roles in Gremlins and The Terminator died at the age of 90, according to Variety.  So he definitely didn’t ‘close early’ and led a full life.

According to the industry site, ‘Miller is survived by his wife Lainie, daughter Barbara and granddaughter Autumn.’  The actor is perhaps best known for his part in Gremlins, in which he played Murray Futterman.

Although people who obsessively watch The Terminator will probably recognize him as the gun store owner.  And don’t forget about Gremlins.

‘I’m devastated to report that one of my best friends and most treasured collaborators has passed away,’ wrote Gremlins director Joe Dante.
