The film’s official title is John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.  And it has a new poster, which is kind of good.

At the end of John Wick: Chapter 2, Wick (Keanu Reeves) was declared “excommunicado” from the Continental and that a global contract had been offered on his head for killing Santino while Santino was under the sanctuary of the Continental hotel. Now with this poster, we see Wick on the outside looking in, no longer part of the fraternity of assassins but a target.

EASTERN PROMISES 2

They’re making a sequel to Eastern Promises.  Speaking with Collider to promote the Matthew McConaughey-led thriller Serenity, writer Steven Knight says not only is a follow-up to ‘Promises’ happening but it’s slated to begin production this year and explains it thus:

“It is like fishing, where you leave it out there, and it’s been out there for a while. It went through permutations in the sense of, how do you follow Viggo? We’ve been through that and we’ve moved on and now we’re in a position where I will say ‘watch this space,’ we’re close to getting into production. The script] changed a bit. It changed quite recently as a result of events in the world. The topicality of the Russia thing. I’ve adapted it to reflect recent events.”
