Resident Evil 3 Remake Poster

For those who have not already, I highly recommend playing the remake of Resident Evil 2, which was released earlier this year.  Although not a movie, it is as close to an interactive horror movie as I’ve ever experienced.

The success of that remake has led to this:

A remake of the third game.  The Game Awards are streaming December 12, and that seems like a possible venue for Capcom to make the announcement.

The game released earlier this year restored the franchise to its more subtle, horror-based roots.  This was a roaring success and will hopefully influence the producers of the new movie reboot to stay away from the silliness of the old movies.
