Flashback: Lightning Bolt Commercial

Once upon a time, Sensei Seagal created his own energy drink. Above is a not often seen commercial for the delicious and refreshing chi-boosting beverage.

At the time of its launch, Seagal offered: ‘I have traveled the world creating this drink; there is none better’.  The ingredients found included Tibetan goji berry, gingko biloba, and Asian cordyceps.

These powerful ingredients were said to lower cholesterol and increase mental alertness.  But wait, why the name ‘Lightning Bolt’?  Here is what the (now defunct) website had to say:

The name Lightning Bolt was an inevitable afterthought. When Steven Seagal finished creating a drink that holds untold natural power, there was only one equivalent in nature- The Lightning Bolt. Both mysterious and powerful, it is a symbol of the untold energy the earth has to offer- Such is Steven Seagals Lighting Bolt energy drink.
