DARRYL JENKS’ EXCLUSION IS AN OUTRAGE

Coming 2 America is around the corner. However a protest must be expressed.  Not really that Samuel L. Jackson’s character is not returning (apparently not), which may be overlooked.  Rather, the real offence here is the omission of Darryl Jenks (played by Eric La Salle).  I gotta be honest, when this film was announced, I checked for La Salle’s involvement before even Arsenio Hall’s. It’s very disappointing.

In fact, you could say it’s an outrage.

I waited until further trailers etc were revealed to see the obvious, he was not going to appear.  Will the movie survive the absence of this true man’s man?  I don’t know, it’s looking suspect.  But why is he not back in the sequel?  Well it turns out that Mr. La Salle was busy directing Chicago P.D. at the time of production.

They should’ve halted the entire movie, then!

Coming to America 3 better feature Jenks’ getting even with a rich oligarch member of royalty whisking away his girl with the allure of opulence.  At least Wesley Snipes shows up as an African dictator.
