Mel Gibson trended yesterday on social media platform Twitter. A news report from Russia Today tells us why. It appears that he had the nerve to salute President Trump at a sporting event.
A video showing actor and filmmaker Mel Gibson raising his hand in a salute gesture as ex-president Donald Trump arrived at a recent UFC fight has sparked controversy online, with critics enraged over the apparent sign of respect.
First posted to TikTok on Monday, the footage shows Trump as he entered the T-Mobile area near Las Vegas for the UFC 264 event over the weekend, with Gibson briefly seen saluting him in the background.

This led to hatred spewed against the manly movie actor on the social media platform. With some calling for the man’s career to ‘rest in hell’, among a string of never ending similar Tweets and abusing replies.
The crazy thing is, you didn't even need to know why Mel Gibson was trending to know that he probably did something shitty.
Rest in hell to his dead career. pic.twitter.com/H8eMpA99dq

Apparently, we need to take a stand against cyberbullying and trolling of celebrities. Unless of course you disagree with some of their viewpoints. Then, cyberbullying appears to be less of a serious affair. Of course, bullying only works if the target is a victim.
Mel Gibson is nobody’s victim.
Gibson gives no fucks, never has. And has a net worth of $400 million. As observed here:
Mel Gibson has a net-worth of over $400 million dollars.
Good luck cancelling him 🤣
