KEATON’S ROBIN SHOWS UP IN BATGIRL, SORTA…

He’ll be appearing in The Flash, where Michael Keaton will make his first appearance as Bruce Wayne/Batman in 30 years.  This now though appears to be not the only place the OG Batman is going to show up.

Keaton has been added to the cast list for the upcoming Batgirl film releasing on HBO Max, according to a press release Warner Bros. posted on their media site which included a preview of upcoming films set for premiere in 2022.

Now, graffiti from the movie shows that Gotham has been affectionate to its hero and reveals that at some point, Keaton’s Batman had his Robin;

The villain for the movie is supposedly Hugo Strange.

It’s funny that most of the hype for this movie appears to almost totally be riding on Keaton’s Batman’s back, with the main protagonist/angle apparently being an afterthought.  Almost like how you might have bought cereal growing up just to get at the toy in the middle.
