RIP James Shigeta

Some sad news to forward here today.

James Shigeta, co-star of Die Hard alongside Alan Rickman and Bruce Willis, has passed away.  No word on the cause of death yet, but at the age of 81, probably natural and hopefully peaceful.  Shigeta played Joseph Takagi in the 1988 classic.

Shigeta was a manly man as it happens, having served as a United States Marine.  Having made his first movie in 1959 and and his last in 2009, his was a career that spanned 50 years.
