Mad Max: Fury Road Japanese TV Spot – ManlyMovie

Mad Max: Fury Road Japanese TV Spot

Mad Max: Fury Road draws closer and today the latest TV spot, for Japan has hit the net.

It does seem more bombastic than any Mad Max movie yet, but ever since day one the stunts, vehicles and crashes etc have all supposedly been practical, with minimal CGI used. You can check out Cyrus’ in depth analysis of the original Fury Road trailer footage by clicking here.
What we’re also wondering is whether not this is a prequel, sequel or… sideboot?  At any rate, George Miller claimed that Warner Bros. allowed him to do his own thing, and with his talent and that budget, that means that this could be something severely special.

Haunted by his turbulent past, Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron).

They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
