3) Alien Trilogy (1996)
The first game on the list published by the ill fated Fox Interactive, this game was incorrectly called a Doom clone. But it was much more than that, with actual 3D rendering, making it one of the first true FPS games. But even better, it felt like it existed within the Weyland/Yutani universe with correct sound effects, weapons and icons. If you were lucky enough to get this on New Years Eve 1995, it really was special and often creepy by itself. One of the good things about Fox Interactive, they had an ample budget to work with with their developers. It showed here.
