Top Five: Worst Manly Movie Game Adaptations
4) Beverly Hills Cop – PS2
Even hardcore fans of Detective Foley probably weren’t aware of the existence of this game. Better that way, it would’ve ruined many a person’s day. All they did with this game was hire the license of the name and title character. The Axel-F theme was a ripped off hokey version, but not as fake as Foley himself… a random bald black man looking nothing like Eddie Murphy.
But refusing to pay for copyright themes or Murphy’s likeness were among the least offensive things here. The game played like old people fuck and is possibly the slowest moving FPS in history. It was also unforgiving – pulling the trigger once on your gun often meant certain death. And glitches?? Just look at the 2:40 mark.
