2) Ralph Fiennes
The whole idea behind a T-1000 unit is to increase its capacity to mimic empathy over other models, making it a good infiltration weapon. Fiennes is a good man at playing a stone cold piece of shit with a streak of intermittent humanity. He was a great villain in Red Dragon (2002) and certainly well into super-creep territory in Schindler’s List (1993). The other feature of a T-1000 is that it should appear unremarkable, yet have somewhat defined or even ‘handsome’ looks. I do recall seeing Fiennes in aftershave commercials and the like from time to time, that’s certainly something Skynet would go for. I don’t believe though that Fiennes may have been capable Robert Patrick’s (almost unique) brand of determined aggression in Terminator 2 (1991).
