John Wick: Chapter 2 Official Synopsis

I was going to say that John Wick 2 being pushed back was kind of bad news, but then the movie never really had a release date.  So now it does, the film is now titled ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ and will see a February 10 2017 release date.

And now we have an official synopsis too;

Keanu Reeves returns in the sequel to the 2014 hit as legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers. Lionsgate’s “John Wick: Chapter 2” arriving in theaters on February 10, 2017.

The original John Wick was a great movie and came in as ManlyMovie’s manliest movie of 2014.

Returning characters include hitman John Wick (Reeves), Winston (Ian McShane), Aurelio (John Leguizamo), Hotel Manager Charon (Lance Reddick), Jimmy (Tom Sadowski) and Wick’s deceased wife Helen Wick (Bridget Moynahan).
