The Marine 5: Battleground (2016) Filming Now

Well I just got word that they’re making another one of those ‘Marine’ movies.  And that the latest will be the fifth in the series.  The new movie is filming in Vancouver and will wrap up some time in the coming week.  ‘The Miz’ returns in this movie and is said to be facing off against a horde of violent bikers.

The film is titled ‘The Marine 5: Battleground’ and has a bunch of WWE wrestlers (mid carders would be my guess) walking around in biker regalia.

I’m guessing that ‘The Miz’ will take most of them out using his CGI bullets (even blanks are a thing of the past in VOD movies it seems these days).  Sony has gotten on board this movie along with the obvious backers from WWE.

I believe the first instalment came out ten years ago.  It just makes you wonder who the hell keeps purchasing these movies, you can’t blame one end for making them if the other end keeps buying ’em…
