TOP FIVE: 1990’s Action Trailers

Die Hard with a Vengeance was the second best Die Hard movie and all of the cool kids wanted to see it in 1995.  Back then, pre-internet, the rumour was that John McClane actually died in this one.  Anyway, it had good trailers, but the best one did not appear in the cinema or on TV.  The best cut actually appeared on VHS, back when people actually watched trailers on home video before the main movie started.  Fast forwarding was always more trouble than it was worth anyway!  This trailer somehow made its way onto YouTube in recent times, but the quality has taken a beating.  Ode to Joy never sounded better.  It’s a pity that Bruce Willis pissed in the Die Hard soup in recent years and, it seems, is going to do so again.
