TOP FIVE: 1990’s Action Trailers

This is how you edit a fucking trailer.  Slick yet curiously old school and still appealing to that 1980’s crowd.  Much better than Mission: Impossible, which was to follow the year after, in fact the movie was too.  GoldenEye is the best Bond movie ever and this trailer really does do it justice.  Every home theatre/electronics department had this trailer running on a loop in 1995, I remember it clearly, with crowds gathered round to not to check out the hardware but one of the best promotional clips they’d ever seen.  Pierce Brosnan is who I would also call the best Bond.  If memory serves this was the last Bond movie to feature a henchman as well.  Good as it is though, there is another teaser which all must bow to.  Not just the best of the 1990’s, but probably the best ever…
