Top Five: Things An Expendables 4 Needs
4) Jackie Chan
They’re running out of names in the retro action field to add to the cast of these movies. But Jackie Chan is one 80s/90s icon who has yet to show his face. They need to hire Chan and give him some decent screen time. If that is at the expense of others, so be it. There are too many people in there taking up screen time that they don’t deserve, and that’s before we get to the problem of Stallone hogging his own slice of the movie. The one problem though is that Chan has said he’ll only do it if his character is allied with Barney Ross. No good, Jackie. We’ve got too many good guys. And if you’re only going to show up as a hero, better to not have you at all. For once, be a killer villain.
