Top Five: Things An Expendables 4 Needs
5) New Locations
I’m sure Bulgaria is a beautiful place, and by all accounts it is. But if they make another Expendables movie, the first thing they need to do is move to another location, at least one different place. Filming in Bulgaria looks cheap, something that sticks with the movie and adds to a feeling that viewers are being cheated (along with the Sega Saturn CGI etc). It worsens a negative placebo effect. So if they move somewhere else, it doesn’t even have to be America. That’ll involve producers opening wallets I’m sure, which means it probably isn’t going to happen. Even going back to New Orleans would be a start. Enough pummeled junkyard rubble (pictured…)
