Top Ten: Characters Who Would Survive A Zombie Outbreak

8) Lone Wolf McQuade

In a zombie apocalypse, you could expect Chuck Norris’ Lone Wolf McQuade to not only survive, but probably clear up Texas itself in a matter of weeks.  From, there, the world.  Possibly Chuck Norris’ best role and the forerunner to Walker: Texas Ranger (that series was originally supposed to be a spin off, but they could not secure the rights), Wolf McQuade would be bad news, if you’re a zombie.

The man knows the land and has a beastly supercharged vehicle.  He lives in a shack in the middle of nowhere, but still has electric to keep the beer in the fridge cooled. Wolf McQuade ain’t got time for rotting dead people.

7) Manny

Now you might ask, who the fuck is Manny?  And if you do then you gotta be a certified girlie man for not knowing who this legend is.  Manny from Runaway Train (1985) might not have military skills (that we know of) or any of that shit.  But for Christ’s sake, when they opened the door of the hole, where he’d been locked up without light or furniture for nine months, he was doing push ups!

“I can stand on my head for nine months!”

And he probably did.  The thing that not only puts Manny in the top ten but drives him up to number seven is the sheer alpha will power to not be defeated by anyone or any thing.  Accused of being an animal by someone, Manny retorts with “No, worse.  I’m a human being.  Much worse”.  True that.  Against a predator like Jon Voight’s Manny, the stiffs wouldn’t stand a chance.
