Sylvester Stallone’s only good animated feature came in the 1990’s, a time when Stallone was still on top, mostly (and prior to his fall from grace at the turn of the century). Stallone plays a soldier ant who helps a friend try to break out of an authoritarian society.

There are big names in the ensemble including Woody Allen, Sharon Stone, Jennifer Lopez, Christopher Walken, Dan Aykroyd, Anne Bancroft, Danny Glover and Gene Hackman.

Whether or not kids nowadays might want to watch this is open to question, but it does have the occasional good jibe of humor and the characters are bespoke for their respective actors. The movie had a somewhat controversial feud with Dreamworks and their similar movie A Bug’s Life.
