20) VICTORY (1981)

Now this really is underrated.  Forget the lukewarm record that might be found on some metric sites.  In this ensemble movie, Stallone tries the sports theme, set in WW2, and it works on many levels.

Stallone will break out of a German concentration camp, using a football game as cover above the dig out tunnel.

The movie features not only Michael Caine but also Pelé, and  English World Cup-winning goalkeepers Gordon Banks and Alan Thatcher was closely involved in the film, training Sylvester Stallone for his goalkeeping scenes.

This humble but engrossing film also has a great score.
