38) CAPONE (1975)

Capone came in to ride the tail of The Godfather’s mobster renaissance in the mid-1970’s.  Or so that was the plan, anyway.  The movie, which barely broke even financially all said (it cost less than a million dollars to make), was trashed by critics and is another sub-6.0 IMDb Stallone entry.

It’s not actually a terrible movie.  It just lives in its deserved place of far, far down the memory hole.

The tiresome pace, subject inaccuracies and hokey production values, not to mention with not much Stallone, push it way down on our list.  A decent performance by Stallone however.
