39) NO PLACE TO HIDE (1973)
This (very) early Stallone entry has Sylvester is one that most people probably haven’t even heard of.
This movie is set in New York in the late 1960s; where a politically motivated group of students plans bombings of company offices who do business with dictators in Central American countries. They want to up their game and recruit a terrorist bomber, which puts them on the FBI’s radar.
The film was re-cut and re-released as Rebel in an attempt to repackage the movie as a Stallone movie, after he became a megastar. This is another movie for the trash heap. Those few critics who looked at this ‘topical’ movie scoffed, rightly.
